As a union contractor, we work on a referral process from the local union halls for the hiring of all craft workers.
All Laborer (Apprentice, Journeyman, Foreman, and General Foreman) tasks involve physical labor on construction jobsites;
may operate hand and / or power tools as needed; may prepare site and assist with other duties as assigned.
Laborer (Apprentice, Journeyman, Foreman, and General Foreman) responsibilities include, but not limited to :
- Group 1 : demotion, flagman, general, construction or cleanup, or traffic control.
- Group 2 : chute man or concrete curer.
- Group 3 : compactor or pipelayer's backup man.
- Group 4 : pipelayer or traffic lane closure (certified).
Additionally, the Laborer Foreman will supervise, coordinate and schedule a crew of Laborers.
