We are currently searching for a Packaging Operator to be based out of Allendale, SC. Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, this person will be responsible for utilizing standard tools and measuring devices to ensure that the final product meets customer specifications and to catch any basic abnormalities.
The ideal candidate will have experience in lean manufacturing or business system-based company.
Additional Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Maintain a clean work area.
- Look out for and report safety concerns.
- Able to independently run all aspects of the extrusion lines
- ensuring that product meets all applicable internal and external
- specifications
- Understand and master the computerized systems associated with the
- extrusion, control, and printing technologies used in our facility
- Responsible for measuring product to ensure that pipe products are made in conformance with required specifications. The appearance of our product must meet or exceed the requirements of the market
- Able to read micrometer, Caliper and OD tape
