Who we are looking for :
We are currently looking for a Human Resource Generalist. You will be responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level at the Eugene, OR location. This role will carry out responsibilities in the following functional areas : recruiting, employee relations, benefits, training and development, onboarding, policy implementation and enforcement and employment law compliance. The role will also act as a liaison between employee and management to answer questions or concerns regarding company policies, practices, and regulations.
What you’ll do :
- Conducts recruitment effort for all exempt and nonexempt personnel, students and temporary employees; conducts new-employee orientations; monitors career-pathing program and writes and places advertisements.
- Consult with managers and supervisors on absenteeism, turnover and workforce data and take actions where necessary. Serve as a link between management and employees by handling questions and helping resolve work-related problems
- Handle employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling and exit interviewing.
- Administer benefits and performance management systems, as well as safety programs
- Develop and maintain affirmative action program; prepare EEO-1 report annually; maintain other records, reports and logs to conform to EEO regulations.
- Maintain and process payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data.
- Maintain human resource information system (Ultipro) records and compile reports from the database.
- Coordinate employee appreciation, recognition, engagement, and volunteer events / programs

As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay for this position is $63,200 - $86,900. Placement in the range depends on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, relevant experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs and may change over time. Other compensation may include, but not limited to, overtime, shift differentials, bonuses, commissions, stock, and other incentives.
