Who we are looking for :
We are currently looking for a Shipping Manager. You will be responsible for leading the shipping team. Your team will ensure the delivery of finished product is one time and accurate.
What you’ll do :
- Identify safety and work procedures; prepare work schedules and expedite workflow.
- Examine work for exactness, neatness and conformance to policies and procedures.
- Review pipe orders to determine truckload space / percentage and if a fill is needed.
- Coordinate product needs with Production Manager / Plant Manager as while as CSR.
- Prepare daily shipping schedule and freight rates for the carriers and follow up to ensure the loads are covered.
- Invoice all shipments and create shipping document such as BOL and Packing Lists.
