What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facilities Maintenance Associate ($22.00 per hour) position at Atkore?
Who we are looking for:
Atkore, a recipient of a Great Place to Work© certification and a Top Workplaces USA award, is searching for a Facilities Maintenance Associate to be based out of Phoenix, AZ. Reporting to Maintenance Supervisor, this person will be responsible for the preventative maintenance and repairs to the Atkore Phoenix, facility. This individual will comply with all site 5s standards and continuous improvement initiatives.
What you’ll do:
Additional Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Helping to relocate office space, install cubicles and move office furniture.
- Operating a forklift when required to help move product and shipments sent to the facility.
- Utilizing floor cleaning equipment such as scrubbers/buffers in production areas with knowledge of stripping and waxing of office flooring.
- Managing grounds maintenance.
- Minor plumbing, construction, and painting.
What you’ll bring:
- One year of related field experience preferred.
- Ability to utilize forklifts as needed.
- Ability to perform math problems and equations when needed.
