What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler/Grinder position at Atkore?
Material Handler / Grinder : (day / night shift a-p & p-a $ shift differential)
Who we are looking for :
We are currently searching for a Material Handler based out of Fort Mill, SC. Reporting to the PVC Extrusion Shift Lead this person’s primary focus will be to package finished PVC pipe in proper crate quantities for shipment.
What you’ll do :
- Follow Grinding Schedule
- Weigh inventory
- Stage material for upcoming job
- Assist with Quality Control duties. (Monitor saw cuts, pipe length, and product color.)
- Perform inspections of product for proper print line and quality specifications
- Maintenance and cleanup for production and storage areas.
- Housekeeping in assigned area
- All other assigned duties
