Who we are looking for :
Atkore is currently searching for a Regional Sales Manager, Plumbing for the central US region. Reporting to the Sales Director - Plumbing, the Regional Sales Manager will have primary responsibility for driving revenue and market share growth on all Atkore’s Plumbing products across our business units through the development and execution of our strategic initiatives. This person must be located in or around a major city within the region.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of years of experience working in a similar role and / or industry. Experience in lean manufacturing or business system-based company is a plus.
What you’ll do :
- Drive continued growth for our product portfolio of Plumbing products through our network of agents and electrical distributors, as well as key end user influencers and specifiers where applicable.
- Educate, train & develop our Sales Agents and end users on products through lunch and learns, demonstrations, job site visits, and field training.
- Enter, track, manage, and report on projects, opportunities, and territory sales plans using and other tools as needed.
- Attend trade shows and conferences as needed.
- Manage performance of Sales Agents and make changes as warranted.
- Conduct sales objective reviews by product for all agencies and each direct salesperson.
- Assist in the evaluation and processing of field quality complaints and returns.
- Manage travel & entertainment expenses in a timely and efficient manner.
- Complete other projects, initiatives, duties, and responsibilities as required.
