Who we are looking for :
We are currently looking for a Shipper / Receiver to be based out of Lovelady, TX. Reporting to Production Manager, this person will be responsible for pulling and packing orders, loading and unloading trucks and making sure the product is secure and safe.
What you’ll do :
Additional Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Knows and follows plant safety rules and wears proper PPE
- Knows and follows yard and dock loading / unloading safety rules and procedures
- Able to locate, accurately count, and package products for shipment
- Inspect products and packaging for damage
- Package, palletize and bundle product for shipment using means appropriate for method of transportation
- Proficient with all sorts of material handling and packaging devices including forklifts, pallet jacks, and banders
- Cycle count product and paperwork
- Accurately receive and record inbound freight shipments
- Aware of overstock areas
- Load out customer will call and other docked van freight
- Unload product from flatbeds and docked van freight
- Packing accuracy must be at or exceed an acceptable level
- Perform general warehouse duties and cleanup
- All other duties as assigned.
