Tool & Die Technician
Who we are looking for:
We are currently searching for a Tool and Die Technician to be based out of Fort Mill, SC. Reporting to the Production Manager this person will be responsible for managing the functions of the Tool Room department to aid and improve the operational performance of the facility.
What you’ll do:
- Change, clean, and maintain all tooling needed.
- Develop the tooling preventative maintenance program.
- Responsible for the creation and implementation of best practice Tool Room vision, strategy, policies, and processes to aid and improve operational performance
- Investigate production issues related to tooling
- Assist Maintenance and Extrusion Department when requested
- Investigate production issues related to tooling
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
- All other duties assigned
What you’ll bring:
- Minimum educational requirement is high school diploma, or equivalent
- Previous PVC Manufacturing experience, highly preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and anticipate needs in order to effectively manage time
- Knowledge and basic troubleshooting skills on all support systems
- High attention to detail, accuracy, time management, and organization
- Shows initiative
- Must be adaptable to changes in the work environment, comfortable with multiple competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events in a calm and logical manner
- Must be able to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced work environment
- Able to lift 50 pounds unassisted

Within 3 months, you’ll:
- Complete any required training
- Have developed relationships with the key stakeholders for this role.

As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay for this position is $23.50 min to $25.50 max. Placement in the range depends on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, relevant experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs and may change over time. Other compensation may include, but not limited to, overtime, shift differentials, bonuses, commissions, stock, and other incentives.
