Job Description: As a Gym Equipment Repair Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of a wide range of gym equipment. Your expertise will help us maintain a safe and functional environment for our members. You will also handle ordering necessary parts to ensure timely repairs and minimal downtime for our equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on cardio equipment and various machines.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with gym equipment of all makes and models.
- Order necessary parts and manage inventory to ensure timely repairs.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs, parts orders, and maintenance schedules.
- Collaborate with the management team to prioritize and address equipment issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service by promptly addressing member concerns related to equipment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Gym Equipment Repair Technician or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of repairing and maintaining cardio equipment and gym machines from various brands.
- Strong mechanical and technical skills.
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
- Experience in ordering and managing parts inventory.
- Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant certifications or technical training in equipment repair is a plus.
