RV Plumbling Technician

We are looking for an experienced RV Tech for a 2-3 week contract. Your role is as follows::

• Installation of grey water tanks (interior or undercarriage-mounted) into Sprinter vans and other custom vehicles
• Plan and execute routing for inflow/outflow plumbing, including drains, vents, and connection to fresh water or waste systems
• Install associated fittings, hose clamps, valves, and caps to ensure a watertight, serviceable system
• Fabricate or assist in fabrication of custom mounting brackets or protective enclosures, as needed
• Secure tanks using appropriate mounting hardware, insulation, and vibration-proof methods
• Ensure all installations meet internal quality standards and basic RV plumbing codes
• Test all plumbing connections for leaks and proper function before delivery or build sign-off
• Coordinate with electricians, carpenters, and other build team members to ensure integrated system fitment
• Maintain accurate documentation of installation specs, components used, and testing outcomes
• Perform inspections, repairs, or upgrades to previously installed systems when needed
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace in accordance with shop standards

Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in plumbing, van conversions, RVs, or automotive systems installation
• Ability to read and interpret build diagrams, technical drawings, and component specs
• Strong working knowledge of tools including drills, saws, clamps, ratchets, and heat guns
• Experience with poly tanks, flexible plumbing tubing (PEX, PVC, reinforced hose) and fittings
• Comfortable working underneath vehicles on jack stands or lifts
• Excellent attention to detail and mechanical problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and with a team to meet deadlines
• Physical ability to lift tanks and maneuver into tight spaces during installation
• Bonus: welding/fabrication skills for custom mounts or reinforcements

Job Types: Contract, Temporary

Pay: $25.45 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
