We are hiring a Beverage Cart Attendant to join our team and work on our beautiful 18-hole championship golf courses. Applicants must be able to work a variety of shifts including days, afternoons, evenings, weekends and holidays. Summary:
The Beverage Cart Attendant will use strong interpersonal skills to communicate with members and guests while serving simple cocktails, beer and snacks on the golf course and/or a designated location.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Work as directed to support the mission and values of Atlanta Athletic Club
- Address members politely and quickly by name (if possible)
- Stock cart, cut fruit, and keep storage areas clean
- Learn and become proficient with Jonas POS system and charge members correctly
- Maintain a knowledge of all beverage options on the cart
- Safely operate the beverage cart while not disrupting golf in play
- Inspect and rotate all beer, wine and liquor to maintain maximum freshness
- Fulfill both opening and closing side work on each shift
- Take ownership of member issues and follow through to resolution
- Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Good understanding of mixology, garnishing and serving drinks
- Ability to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a pleasant personality
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be detail oriented
- Must be able to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
- Must be able to safely lift and easily maneuver cases of beverages
- Frequent bending and lifting as well as continuously getting in and out of beverage cart
Qualifications:
- One year or more of experience in Food & Beverage
- Must be at least 18 years of age and able to obtain a pouring permit from the City of Johns Creek prior to onboarding
- Must have a valid driver’s license to be able to operate the beverage cart
- High school diploma or equivalent
