We are looking to immediately hire a part-time Beverage Cart Attendant. Applicants must be able to work from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm, two to three shifts per week including weekends and holidays. The Club is regularly closed on Monday except on holidays. Rate of pay for this position is $10.00 per hour plus tips. Team members 21-years of age or over are eligible to participate in the 401(k) retirement plan after one year of service if qualified. Two personal days after 90-days of employment and a full PTO package after one-year of service. Amount of PTO is determined by employment status and hours worked the previous year.
Summary:
The Beverage Cart Attendant will use strong interpersonal skills to communicate with members and guest while serving simple cocktails, beer and snacks on the golf course and/or a designated location.
Primary Responsibilities:
Work as directed to support the mission and values of Atlanta Athletic Club- Address members politely and quickly by name (if possible)
- Stocks cart, cuts fruit, keeps storage areas clean, bills members correctly
- Learns and becomes proficient with Jonas POS system
- Maintain a knowledge of all beverage options on the cart
- Safely operate the beverage cart while not disrupting golf in play
- Inspects and rotates all beer, wine and liquor to maintain maximum freshness
- Fulfills both opening and closing side work on each shift
- Takes ownership of member issues and follows through to resolution
- Completes other duties as assigned by supervisor or management
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Good understanding of mixology- Ability to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a pleasant personality
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to pay attention to details
- Must be able to safely lift and easily maneuver cases of drinks
- Frequent bending and lifting as well as continuously getting in and out of beverage cart
Qualifications:
Pouring permit required from City of Johns Creek- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Previous experience in Food & Beverage
