General Maintenance Technician – Full Time
We are hiring a General Maintenance Technician to join our team and work in our beautiful facility in Johns Creek, GA. Applicants must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays. As a full-time team member, you will be eligible to participate in our benefits program.
Summary: The General Maintenance Technician will perform regular maintenance and repair tasks throughout the clubhouse and assist coworkers in the facilities department while developing the skills needed to grow within our Club.
Primary Responsibilities:

- Work as directed to support the mission and values of Atlanta Athletic Club
- Maintain and replace faulty lighting and damaged ceiling tiles as needed
- Assist in all mechanical preventive maintenance programs on HVAC, kitchen and various other equipment
- Maintain, troubleshoot and repair a wide variety of systems throughout our facility
- Perform carpentry, painting and sheetrock repairs and maintenance on existing structures, addressing wear and damage
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment
- Work independently while completing task scheduled for the day
- Perform other duties and task as assigned by the Facilities Director
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong problem–solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new task and challenges
- Able to work in all climates both inside and outside
- Able to work around operating equipment
- Able to lift heavy objects up to fifty (50) pounds, lift, push, pull, hold or carry frequently, climb step ladders, and extension ladder up to thirty (30) feet, walk and stand for long periods of time
- Use equipment and tools properly and safely
- Understand and follow written and oral instructions
Education/Requirements:
- Previous experience in general maintenance
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license or the ability to obtain one
- Work a schedule that includes evenings, weekends and holidays
- Legally authorized to work in the US
