Golf Services Assistant Manager – Full Time
Our team is searching for a Golf Services Assistant Manager that will bring a welcoming and friendly demeanor for our members and guests in addition to a resilient work ethic. The Atlanta Athletic Club golf operation prides itself on investing in our team members by building a custom development plan that aligns with their career goals.
Applicants must be able to work a variety of shifts including days, afternoons, evenings, weekends and holidays. As a full-time team member, you will be eligible to participate in our benefits program.
Summary: The Golf Services Assistant Manager assists the Golf Professional team with running a first-class golf services operation and is responsible for supervision of bag room attendants, cart barn staff and driving range attendants.
Primary Responsibilities:

- Work as directed to support the mission and values of Atlanta Athletic Club
- Assists the Assistant Golf Professional that leads the outside operation team
- Assist with training the outside services team on proper procedures and protocol
- Ensure the proper amount of staff coverage according to activities and season
- Ensure golf carts are properly stocked to provide an exceptional and consistent member experience
- Support the Lead Assistant in setting up all aspect tournaments
- Maintain a clean, safe working environment, with emphasis on promoting team member safety
- Documenting and scheduling golf cart maintenance and performing minor repairs when necessary
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Excellence in hospitality
- Understanding of typical golf operation procedures
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays and 12-hour shifts when necessary
- Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with members, team members and vendors
- Must be able to perform physical activities such as frequent lifting, bending, climbing, stooping, pulling, extensive walking and standing and lifting up to 50 pounds
Education/Requirements:
- Previous experience in golf services
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
