Job Title : System Administrator
Summary / Objective
The System Administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining the IT systems and infrastructure of our 3PL distribution center. This role involves ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of all technology systems that support our distribution operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in systems administration, a keen understanding of logistics technology, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
Essential Functions
- System Management : Oversee and maintain servers, workstations, network devices, and other IT infrastructure within the distribution center.
- Network Administration : Manage and monitor network performance, configure network devices (routers, switches, firewalls), and ensure secure and reliable connectivity.
- Support & Troubleshooting : Provide technical support to staff, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and resolve system outages or performance problems promptly.
- Software Management : Install, configure, and update software applications and systems, including warehouse management systems (WMS), enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, and other logistics-related applications.
- Security & Compliance : Implement and manage security measures to protect data and systems, including antivirus, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
- Backup & Recovery : Develop and manage backup and disaster recovery plans to safeguard critical data and ensure business continuity.
- Documentation : Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, procedures, and network diagrams. Prepare and update technical manuals and user guides.
- Vendor Management : Liaise with vendors and service providers for hardware, software, and support services. Manage procurement and maintenance of IT equipment.
- Project Management : Assist with IT projects, including system upgrades, installations, and rollouts. Collaborate with other departments to support technological initiatives.

Work Environment
This position works in a climate-controlled office inside a climate-controlled warehouse. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

Travel
This role is responsible for our Atlanta Campus of sites, which consists of three sites ranging from Austell, GA, to Kennesaw, GA. While daily travel between sites is uncommon, it may be necessary at times.
Must be available for occasional travel and training, which may include out-of-state travel
Compensation and Benefits
28-$32 / hour based on experience
