Description
The Development Coordinator role is a full-time administrative position primarily responsible for supporting the Garden’s Circles Program, which includes the top three levels of Garden membership. This role also provides general administrative and event support to the Development department. The responsibilities of the Development Coordinator primarily require an in-office setting.
Responsibilities:
- Process Circles memberships and supporting materials including monthly renewals, weekly gift acknowledgements, parking benefits, membership cards, packet collation and distribution.
- Ensure timely concierge service to Circles Members and donors
- Regular correspondence with Circles members and donors, including emails, phone calls, letters, etc.
- Planning and implementation of annual Circles events and cultivation/stewardship activities ? Attend Garden programs and events, as appropriate. This includes some evenings and weekends.
- Maintain accurate donor records in Raiser’s Edge NXT and paper files
- General support of Development Department, as needed, including off-site errands
- Perform other duties as assigned by Senior Development Officer, Individual Support
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree required
- 1-2 years of Development experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills across multiple platforms ? Strong time management and attention to detail
- Comfort with real-time problem solving, prioritization, and ability to manage multiple projects
- Advanced interpersonal skills and ability to maintain positive donor relationships ? Working knowledge of Raiser’s Edge NXT and ACME preferred
