Position Overview: Assists in the day-to-day Ticket Operations of the Atlanta Braves & Truist Park, with emphasis on daily financial reporting, end of month balancing, and vault management.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Balance and keep daily detailed spreadsheets of all monies collected for Season Tickets, Individual Advance Sales, Day of Game Sales, Tours, Postseason Sales, Truist Park events (concerts, etc), and any other sales that pass through the Ticket Office
- Responsible for completing and balancing end of month monies and generating reports for Finance Department
- Support Accounting department in tracking and reporting payment details on Premium Seating contracts
- Serve as main point of contact for cash/change pick-up & drop-off with armored car service
- Maintain vault to ensure that all monies, coupons, and receipts are organized properly and accounted for
- Assist with performing monthly audit of all vault funds, as well as completing orders for cash/change when needed
- Ensure that all Gameday staff has updated information pertaining to game discounts, promotions and Theme Nights. Assist ticket sellers when situations arise during a game
- Serve as ticket seller and mobile resolution attendant when needed
- Work with assigned partners in Ticket Sales & Service, as well as Premium Sales & Service, to complete daily tasks of creating accounts, processing payments, and printing/shipping ticket orders (as requested)
- Process exchanges from A-List Members, as well as internal requests from staff by monitoring multiple email inboxes
- Assist in all other capacities within the Ticket Operations department, including training of Gameday Staff on Ticketmaster software products, and employee ticket distribution programs
- Contribute as a team member to the overall success of the Atlanta Braves Ticket Operations Department
- Performs all other related duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Sports Management, Business or a related field
- 1 year experience required in the area of Accounting, computerized ticketing or a related field
- Proactive, organized and detail oriented person who can work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- An understanding and appreciation for diverse cultures and an ability to work effectively and relate well with individuals of diverse backgrounds and all levels within the company
- Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Must be a team player, who cares about the team’s work and success
- Archtics and Ticketmaster (HOST) ticketing systems experience
- Knowledge of TM1 suite of programs is preferred
- Microsoft Office proficiency (particularly Excel)
- Able to work long hours, overtime, weekends and occasional holidays
