Production Packer

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Packer to join our team in a fast-paced manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the packaging process, ensuring that products are assembled, packed, and prepared for shipment efficiently and accurately. This position requires a strong commitment to quality and safety standards while working collaboratively with other team members on the assembly line.

Responsibilities

• Assemble products according to specifications and quality standards.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during the packing process.
• Inspect finished products for defects or inconsistencies before packaging.
• Package products securely to prevent damage during transit.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area within the warehouse or factory environment.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures while operating machinery and handling materials.

Skills

• Experience working in a manufacturing facility or warehouse setting is preferred.
• Mechanical knowledge is a plus, enabling effective operation of machinery and tools.
• Familiarity with assembly line processes to ensure efficient workflow.
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Experience with forklifts is advantageous for moving materials as needed.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure product quality during packing.
• Excellent teamwork skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.63 - $18.10 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
