Objectives: Responsible for assisting the President of Atlanta Flooring Design Centers and other executives with scheduling, organizing documents, maintaining records and reports, and any other administrative task required.
Department Description: This role serves as the eyes and ears for the executive teams administrative functions. This role should support AFDC operations by assisting the Executive team while controlling the CEOs schedule, preparing/organizing documents and working as a trusted partner. The Executive Assistant should focus on maximizing the strategic use of company resources by establishing and maintaining best practices.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work directly with the President to support all aspects of his daily work routine.
- Maintain the Presidents calendar, including scheduling meetings, appointments, speaking engagements, and travel arrangements. Exercise discretion in committing time and evaluating needs.
- Routinely perform a wide variety of support duties.
- Handle printing, faxing, mail/overnight packages, copying, filing, and email/messages.
- Keep inventory of company office supplies, apparel and printer equipment; restock as needed
- Prepare, reconcile, and submit weekly reports.
- Responsible for assigning and refurbishing all company iPhones and iPads.
- Maintain confidential and sensitive information.
- Complete a variety of special projects including anniversary name plates, sympathy cards, installer celebration gifts, arrangements for manager meetings, etc.
- Other additional and/or alternative duties as assigned, including supporting other departments or Executives as needed.
- Some accounting practices for company accounts and Presidents personal.
- Booking travel arrangements for all AFDC employees.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree preferred
- Three to five years prior experience in supporting a senior executive or team
- Must be able to work with a high level of confidentiality
- Excellent computer skills, including the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Excellent organization and time-management skills
- Someone who exhibits sound judgment with the ability to prioritize and make decisions
- Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas
- Comfortable interacting with high-level executives
- A team player capable of cultivating productive working relationships across the company
