Key Responsibilities
Program Support:
- Assist in organizing and running youth programs, including summer camps, winter academies, and community events.
- Help develop and refine program schedules and activities to ensure they are engaging and aligned with the Atlanta Hustle’s mission.
- Coordinate equipment and supplies needed for programs.
- Act as a point of contact for participants and families during programs, ensuring a welcoming and supportive environment.
- Help maintain communication with parents, providing updates and information as needed.
- Support the creation of social media posts, flyers, and email communications to promote youth programs.
- Attend community events to represent the Hustle and connect with potential participants.
- Assist with program registration and data entry.
- Help track attendance and gather feedback from participants to improve future programming.
- Experience working with youth programs or camps.
- Strong communication skills, particularly with parents and young athletes.
- Basic organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in Google Docs and Sheets.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends or evenings.
- CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Experience/Passion for ultimate frisbee.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and Canva.
- Basic understanding of photography or video creation for promotional purposes.
- Ability to work in both office and outdoor environments.
- Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds.
