What are the responsibilities and job description for the MA/Surgical Tech-MD Assist position at Atlanta Interventional Institute?
Our practice, the Atlanta Interventional Institute/Atlanta Fibroid Center has an immediate opening for a full-time Medical Assistant. We're looking to add to our great clinical team!
The Medical Assistant will work with our clinical team to support the Physicians and provide care for our patients. The Medical Assistant will perform triage; assist nurses with post-procedure recovery; enter data into our EMR system, complete FMLA forms, maintain inventory levels and work alongside the nurses to answer patient phone calls and perform other tasks as assigned by the clinical manager.
What make this opportunity different than others is that our medical assistants assist the Physicians in our embolization procedure lab. The position is a good fit for someone who enjoys hands-on care and wants to expand and grow their clinical skills. Previous experience working in a Cath Lab setting is a PLUS!
