What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commissary Supervisor (Delta) position at Atlanta Public Schools?
Responsibilities :
- Supervises and coordinates daily activities of employees to ensure safe and effective operations.
- Greets crew members, flight attendants, and passengers in a friendly and courteous manner.
- Drives / safely operates catering equipment and vehicles. Loads and unloads aircraft supplies to and from high lift catering trucks. Uses and works from lift equipment to heights at approximately 40 feet to service aircraft.
- Audits and replenishes inventory to ensure an adequate supply of items needed to service aircraft.
- Maintains catering log and records by company procedures.
- Fuels trucks and performs daily safety checks per safety policies and OSHA regulations.
- Maintains the interior and exterior cleanliness of the catering trucks.
- Ensures catering areas are always kept organized and clean.
- Ships and receives supply orders; restocks inventory daily.
- Wash dishes and equipment as required.
- Performs other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill and experience capabilities expected for this position.
