How We Do It
Our approach is patient-centric, emphasizing individualized treatment and attention to detail. In addition, we actively support our athletic trainers in their professional growth journey by providing opportunities for specialty certifications and tailored professional development.
- Covering local high school athletics.
- Develop and implement injury prevention programs tailored to the needs of individual athletes and specific sports.
- Administer appropriate immediate care for injured athletes on-site and arrange for further medical evaluation or treatment when necessary.
- Create and manage rehabilitation plans for injured athletes to facilitate safe and timely return to play.
- Communicate with physicians, local therapists, coaches, and administrators.
- Keep accurate and up-to-date records of injuries, treatments, and progress of each athlete.
- Assist in maintaining a safe sports environment by inspecting and ensuring proper use of sports equipment and facilities.
- Educate athletes about nutrition, hydration, and injury prevention techniques.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in sports medicine and best practices in athletic training.
License & Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Athletic Training.
- Certification by the National Athletic Trainers' Association Board of Certification (NATABOC).
- Current or anticipated state licensure (GA).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate sports schedules.
- New or anticipated graduates are welcome to apply.
