What are the responsibilities and job description for the Athletic Trainer position at Atlanta Sports Recovery?
Position: Athletic Trainer (ATC)
Location: Atlanta Sports Recovery HQ located at 2752 E. Ponce De Leon Ave. 30030
Description:
Are you sick of the ATC grind? The long days, weekends, tournaments, and having to pick up PRN to pay your bills. Managing ten people at a time, needing more one-on-one time to utilize your skill set and get the results you can.
If that is you, then this is the job for you. Atlanta Sports Recovery is innovating the sports medicine industry by empowering Athletic Trainers to use their broad scope of practice to do what they do best: diagnose, treat, and rehab sports injuries utilizing all the tools (dry needling, HVLA, shockwave [both focal and radial pressure], laser, cupping, taping, manual therapy, etc).
You will work with various athletes ranging from weekend warriors to Olympic gold medalists. You will treat everything from your normal soft tissue strain to rehabbing post-surgical hip labrum repairs and many things in between. The goal is to get our athletes to reduce pain, help them move better, and perform at their highest level. You will work with them one-on-one for 30-60 minutes per session and treat athletes for no more than 30 hours per week. There is non-clinical work that will be required.
Compensation: $47,000-$59,000 Base Salary (based on experience) with Quarterly Performance bonuses that will total over $85,000. Health insurance is available after completing the company training program (60 days). We also offer retirement options, a free gym/fitness community membership, AND we pay for your NATA membership continuing ed (the good stuff -- like ART, FRC, Myofascial Decompression, Dry Needling, etc.). Our goal as a company is to have a staff of badass ATCs, all making six figures per year, doing what they do best, and living a high-quality lifestyle.
