We’re looking for a passionate Autism Program Facilitator to lead and support these initiatives. Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate programs for individuals with autism, fostering social skills, independence, and personal growth.
- Lead group activities, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and engaging atmosphere.
- Collaborate with team members to implement individualized support plans.
- Document participant progress and communicate updates to supervisors.
- Uphold safety protocols during all outdoor activities.
- Adapt activities with enthusiasm to meet participants’ diverse needs.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven experience working with individuals with autism in outdoor settings (e.g., camps, recreational programs, or therapeutic environments).
- Preferred Credentials: Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), or camp counselors with relevant experience are highly preferred.
- Physical Requirement: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed to support program activities and participant safety.
- Transportation: Must have a reliable car and a valid driver’s license.
- Background: Clean background check required.
- Strong communication and leadership skills with a compassionate, patient approach.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions and meeting the physical demands of facilitating activities.
