Description
The Outreach and Mission Coordinator will provide administrative support for outreach and mission ministries to help fulfill the mission of the church by making holistic disciples who share the hope within through public faith in evangelism, community engagement, and global missions. The Outreach and Mission Coordinator will also provide administrative support for the Executive Director.
Responsibilities
Outreach and Mission (70%)
- Provide support for outreach and mission programs, including Community Engagement, Public Faith, and Global Missions
- Coordinate the ordering, preparation, and distribution of materials
- Collaborate with the communications team to create and manage event registrations
- Arrange room reservations and oversee setup and breakdown for events
- Provide on-site support for Community Engagement and Public Faith programs
- Research and coordinate travel logistics
- Source catering options and place orders as needed
- Monitor event budgets and provide regular financial reports
- Design and manage event signage
- Track attendee data and compile reports on event metrics
- Communicate with event lay leaders to provide updates and support
- Provide administrative support for Director of Outreach and Mission
Executive Director Support (20%)
- Administrative support for Executive Director
- Meeting logistics, scheduling, food ordering
- Assisting with special projects
- Preparing reports and presentations as needed
General Administration (10%)
- Additional roles and tasks as defined by the Director of Outreach and Mission
- Front-desk reception support- receiving packages, greeting co-working and other guests
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and exceptional job-specific credentials
- Highly organized with a strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability and desire to do administrative work
- Demonstrate ability to multi-task and initiate tasks
- Personal characteristics consistent with Christian maturity
