Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Medical Assistant to join our team. This in-office role supports our providers in delivering exceptional care to our patients. The ideal candidate will have experience in OB/GYN. Experience in Endocrinology, Urogynecology/Urology, or Primary Care is acceptable. A strong understanding of women’s health, hormone therapy, and patient education is preferred.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments.
- Handle bodily fluids (urine, uterine contents, blood, etc.) following safety protocols.
- Administer medications as directed by providers and maintain accurate records.
- Prepare patients for procedures such as endometrial biopsies, colposcopies, IUD insertions, cystoscopies, Urodynamic studies, catheter insertion/removal and ultrasounds, ensuring their comfort and understanding.
- Accurately document patient history, vital signs, and treatment plans in eClinicalWorks (eCW) or other EMR systems.
- Manage patient flow efficiently to minimize wait times and enhance care delivery.
- Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and post-procedure care.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and medical equipment.
- Collaborate with front office and clinical teams to optimize the patient experience.
- Provide support in other areas as needed during peak times or urgent situations.
Qualifications & Skills
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) preferred but not required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an OB/GYN medical office (Required).
- Knowledge of gynecological procedures and hormone therapy is a plus.
- Strong proficiency in medication administration and medical documentation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide patient-centered care.
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour (commensurate with experience).
