Currently we are hiring an Electrical Estimator to join our team in Chandler Arizona.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical systems, including materials, labor, and equipment for large-scale construction projects.
- Develop and submit competitive bid proposals, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project requirements.
- Review electrical drawings, specifications, and contract documents to determine project scope and estimate costs effectively.
- Obtain and analyze pricing from suppliers and subcontractors to ensure cost-effectiveness and compliance with project requirements.
- Identify potential project risks and propose cost-saving alternatives while maintaining quality and compliance.
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and construction teams to align estimates with project execution strategies.
- Stay up to date with market trends, material costs, labor rates, and industry regulations to ensure accurate and competitive estimates.
- Perform detailed take-offs of electrical components, including power distribution, lighting, low voltage systems, and control panels.
- Assist in pre-construction planning by providing cost insights and feasibility analysis to support project decision-making.
- Maintain detailed records of estimates, revisions, and bid documents for future reference and project tracking.

- You have authority to stop the job if you feel there is an unsafe work practice which could result in a risk of injury, have an environmental impact or risk to equipment and other personnel.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Construction Management, or a related field or trade qualified
- Minimum 4 years of experience in electrical estimating for large-scale commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
- Strong ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and contract documents.
- Experience with estimating software
- Ability to source materials, negotiate pricing, and assess supplier/subcontractor quotes for cost-effectiveness.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to assess risks, provide value engineering, and optimize project costs.
- Understanding of cost control, budgeting, and financial planning in large-scale construction projects.
- Capability to handle multiple bids simultaneously, meet tight deadlines, and maintain detailed documentation for estimates and proposals.
