Just in: A high-volume auto dealership in Nassau County is seeking an Experienced Bookkeeper. Automotive bookkeeping experience is a wonderful plus. This Full-time position will offer benefits and a competitive pay plan commensurate with your experience.
The Bookkeeper should have strong skills in time management, documentation, and data analysis. In addition, he/she maintains an adequate system of accounting records and develops periodic financial reports that comply with generally accepted accounting principles.
The ideal candidate is an experienced automotive bookkeeping professional with integrity, who is articulate and punctual. Knowledge of and experience with the Reynolds & Reynolds or the CDK (ADP) DMS systems is a plus. We seek someone with a proven track record for success who can communicate well with others and who takes pride in his or her careful and accurate working style. We prefer a candidate with at least two years of experience in a position of similar responsibility. Candidates must be detail-oriented and good with numbers.
All candidates must pass a Background and Drug screening at the time of hiring. Full-time employees are eligible for medical coverage after 90 days of employment.

Qualifications
- At least two years of experience in a position of similar responsibility
- Knowledge of and experience with the Reynolds & Reynolds or the CDK (ADP) DMS systems is a definite plus
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- Able to deal with confidential information appropriately
- Strong attention to detail and interest in accuracy
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associates degree in Business Administration or Finance preferred.
