What are the responsibilities and job description for the Automotive Office Manager position at Atlantic Auto Group?
High Volume Nassau County New Car Franchise Dealer has a rare opportunity to hire an Experienced Office Manager.
This position will be responsible for developing and maintaining accounting principles, practices, and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements as well as addressing tight deadlines and a multitude of accounting activities including general ledger preparation, financial reporting, and year-end audit preparation and managing the office staff.
Responsibilities
- Bank reconciliations
- Handle floor plan checks and monthly reconciliation
- Responsible for schedules and reconciling factory incentive money
- Will provide sales and expense analysis for potential problems and solutions
- Mentor and guide Office Personnel
- Review general ledger for accuracy for preparing of the financial statements
- Strong ability to reconcile accounts, expenses, and run reports
- Work closely with the GM on a daily basis to ensure the profitability of the dealership
- Performs other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- Highly professional, reliable with integrity
- Must be organized and demonstrate excellent accounting ability
- Must have excellent communication skills
- Reynolds & Reynolds experience is preferred, but not mandatory
- Excellent computer skills and solid knowledge of M.S Suite
Qualifications
- Two years of experience in a position of similar responsibility
- Experience with the ADP or Reynolds & Reynolds DMS systems a plus
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- Able to deal with confidential information appropriately
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Strong attention to detail and interest in accuracy
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
