General Duties

• Driving sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and optimizing procurement processes through the Coupa platform
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure cost-effective sourcing decisions, supply chain efficiency, and compliance with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Sourcing & Procurement:

• Develop and implement comprehensive procurement strategies that align with the organization's objectives and drive cost savings.
• Lead and mentor the procurement team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
• Oversee supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management for all categories, ensuring optimal terms and conditions.
• Experience in fuel procurement and capital/ground service equipment is preferred although scope will include all direct and indirect categories.

Coupa Platform Management:

• Champion the use of Coupa for all procurement activities, ensuring seamless integration and efficient workflow.
• Monitor and enhance the performance of the Coupa platform, leveraging its analytics and reporting features to drive data-informed decisions.

Supplier Relationship Management:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and ensuring high performance.
• Conduct regular supplier performance reviews and collaborate with vendors to resolve issues and enhance service delivery.

Market Analysis & Cost Optimization:

• Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify emerging trends, new suppliers, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Utilize Coupa’s analytics to track procurement metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

• Partner with Finance, Operations, Legal, and other departments to ensure alignment with business needs and procurement goals.
• Provide strategic guidance and support to internal teams on procurement processes and best practices.

Contract Management & Compliance:

• Lead complex contract negotiations, ensuring all agreements align with organizational objectives and compliance standards.
• Ensure procurement activities adhere to legal, ethical, and regulatory requirements.

Process Improvement & Training:

• Continuously evaluate and improve procurement processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Develop and deliver training programs to empower internal teams with best practices for using Coupa and other procurement tools.

RFP Management & Supplier Selection:

• Manage the Request for Proposal (RFP) process, from drafting and issuing RFPs to evaluating responses and selecting suppliers.
• Lead supplier selection and negotiation efforts, ensuring the best value and alignment with organizational goals.

Reporting & Strategic Analysis:

• Prepare and present detailed reports on procurement performance, savings, and strategic initiatives to senior leadership.
• Leverage Coupa’s reporting tools to monitor progress against targets and inform strategic decisions.

Education & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management.
• Experience in sourcing and managing suppliers across multiple categories (direct and indirect).
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Coupa or similar procurement platforms.
• Exceptional analytical skills and experience using data to drive strategic decisions
• In-depth knowledge of procurement best practices, contract law, and supplier relationship management.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and stakeholders.
• Professional certification in Procurement (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) is highly desirable.
