What you’ll be doing
- Providing administrative support to the HR department.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation and maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of the files and records.
- Performing periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
- Participating in answering employee questions relative to standard policies, benefits, etc.; referring more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management.
- Assisting with the administration of employee benefit plans; including enrollments, changes and terminations.
- Assisting with audits of payroll, benefits, compliance, or other HR programs.
- Conducting or assisting with new hire benefits orientation.
- Assisting with requests for system reports or employee information.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
What you’ll bring
- Prior related administrative experience preferred
- Ability to keep confidentiality and handle confidential information
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; including Word, Excel, Outlook
- Strong internal and external customer service skills
- Professionalism and strong communication skills (both in person and via phone/email)
- Ability to work with all levels and varying positions of the company
- Attention to detail and have the ability to multi-task
