We are looking for a Tax Compliance Accountant with strong expertise in U.S. corporate tax regulations, financial reporting, and auditing. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with federal and state tax regulations, managing audits, and optimizing financial processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Accounting & Compliance: Ensure accurate recording of financial transactions, financial closings, and reconciliations in compliance with US-GAAP.
- Audits & Internal Controls: Prepare and coordinate internal/external audits, manage tax audits, and implement financial controls to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Tax Compliance & External Advisory: Oversee federal and state corporate tax filings (Form 1120, state filings, etc.), ensuring compliance with U.S. tax regulations, and manage the relationship with the external tax advisory firm.
- Financial Analysis & Reporting: Prepare financial reports and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- ERP & Process Optimization: Manage accounting operations using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, proposing improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Expense & Budget Control: Monitor and control operating expenses to ensure cost efficiency and budget compliance.
Skills & Competencies:
- Technical Expertise: US-GAAP, financial modeling, corporate tax regulations, and ERP systems.
- Process & Strategy: Skilled in process optimization, cost reduction, and efficiency improvements.

Required Qualifications:
- 3 to 5 years of experience handling US-GAAP standards, audits, and tax compliance.
- Over 3 years of experience in:
- General accounting, financial analysis, and reporting.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or similar ERP systems.
- At least 1 year of experience in manufacturing, distribution, or industrial companies and/or audit firms (Big 4 preferred).
- Proven ability to collaborate with external tax advisory firms and manage corporate tax filings.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Mandatory).
Mandatory Degree: Yes.
Languages: Advanced English and Spanish.
Travel availability: Yes, within the U.S. for audits and business meetings.
