Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly as they enter the restaurant and guide them through the ordering process.
- Operate the cash register, handling cash and credit transactions accurately.
- Utilize POS system for processing orders and payments efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the restaurant, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding menu items and provide recommendations to enhance their dining experience.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in restocking supplies as necessary.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant, or as a cashier is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and positive attitude.
- Familiarity with cash registers and basic math skills for handling transactions.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and ability to maintain sanitation standards.
