Job Outline
The Production Packer helps ensure that manufactured items are ready for shipment by placing them into containers, sealing and labeling items. Production packers are responsible for working as a team and will be cross trained to ensure production efficiency.
Responsibilities
* Assembling, packaging, and casing products produced within the plant
* Use time efficiently
* Complete production line work in a timely manner
* Responsible for cleaning and maintaining work area and assist others as needed
* Understand and follow all safety procedures/policies
* Perform quality and specification checks of material being produced and complete related
* Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
* Be responsible for Food Safety during
* Maintain work area in a safe and orderly fashion according to GMP and Food Safety guidelines
Requirements
This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching all day. The assigned personnel must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds. While performing to assigned job, the employee is required to speak, see, and hear clearly.
