The college expects faculty members to expend about three-quarters of their time in teaching responsibilities.Salary : $62,502Overload Rate : $848 per contact hourExamples of Duties Develops, implements, evaluates, and revises the practical nursing program curriculum in accordance with accreditation requirements and national nursing standards Teaches and coordinates activities related to the nursing program, including classroom and clinical instruction including the skill laboratory, simulation lab, and clinical practice sites Participates in reviewing and instituting new nursing sites for clinical practice Maintains competency in all designated teaching areas by participating in continuing education programs to maintain expertise in nursing theory and practice Maintains a professional attitude as an individual and as a faculty member Mentors part-time nursing faculty Serves as a role model for nursing students Evaluates nursing students in both the classroom and the clinical areas and provide recommendations on progression and retention.
