Atlantic Carbon Group is seeking an experienced Driller to join our mining operations team. The Driller will be responsible for operating drilling equipment to extract minerals safely and efficiently, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and production targets. This role requires strong mechanical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain drilling equipment in accordance with company and safety guidelines.
- Accurately drill blast holes in designated locations per mining plans.
- Conduct pre- and post-operation inspections to ensure equipment functionality.
- Monitor drilling conditions and adjust techniques as necessary.
- Work closely with Blasters and Mining Supervisors to execute drilling plans effectively.
- Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
- Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on drilling machinery.
- Keep detailed records of drilling operations, including depth, material type, and equipment performance.

Qualifications & Requirements:
- Prior experience operating drilling equipment in a mining or heavy construction environment.
- Knowledge of drilling methods, equipment operation, and safety procedures.
