Atlantic Chevrolet is looking for Service Advisor to join our results oriented team. The Service Advisor must fully understand the sales process involved with advising service customers about how to properly repair and maintain their cars. He or she must have an outgoing personality with expertise in developing relationships and providing excellent CSI scores.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Schedules service for customers either in person or on the phone to ensure a prompt and accurate diagnosis of any problems
- Makes repair recommendations and manages delivery of repairs by setting and managing customer expectations
- Insures that required documentation is complete and is in compliance with regulations and standards
- Attends all staff meetings, trainings, and educational classes as required
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Greets all customers entering the service area with a friendly, professional attitude, answering any questions and/or directing them to the appropriate person or location
- Verifies customer appointments and all relevant customer information (name, VIN, tag number, mileage, etc.)
- Arranges service or repair and sets expectations for cost and completion
- Greets all customers in a warm, sincere, and helpful manner
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must fully understand the sales process involved with advising service customers about how to properly repair and maintain their cars
- Must be highly organized with excellent communication skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Must have an excellent attendance record and a commitment to being on time
- Must have a valid and clean NY state driver’s license
- Must be able to pass a drug test and a background check
- Must have an outgoing personality (a "people person")
- Must demonstrate expertise in developing relationships and providing excellent CSI scores
