Summary/Objective: Facilitates and supports quality assurance processes, initiatives, continuous improvement efforts, and product and employee safety. Assists operations and quality management to ensure process control and product conformity meet established procedures and policies.

- Support the Quality Management System (QMS) and compliance initiatives to improve employee engagement and quality practices.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, safety rules, and regulations, including HACCP and GMP principles.
- Manage Change Control processes, from initiation to completion, including organizing and reporting on meetings.
- Oversee the Quality Document Control process, including assigning document numbers, organizing files, and ensuring timely review, approval, training, and implementation.
- Guide the team on compliance with Change Control and Document Control processes.
- Assist with collecting, analyzing, and reporting Quality Management System metrics, driving continuous improvement.
- Support internal/external audits and regulatory inspections as needed.
- Initiate non-conformance reports, analyze root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Lead efforts to ensure compliance with BRCG and Food Safety Standards, participating in third-party audits.
- Perform regular Quality and Food Safety checks and investigate near misses, incidents, and accidents, ensuring corrective actions are taken.
- Complete required training and other tasks as assigned by management.
- Perform regular Quality and Food Safety checks, including calibration, temperature monitoring, and product evaluations.
- Ensure proper testing procedures are followed for product evaluations and monitoring.
- SOP creation and Training. Write, revise, and provide training to new and existing employees for Standard Operating Procedures, testing specifications, protocols, and reports as needed.
Qualification Requirements
- Bilingual (Spanish-English) Preferred
- Experience with quality testing procedures, measuring equipment, & calibration practices preferred
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and demands and to create a sense of urgency for the fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Inquisitive, self-starter, and can work autonomously with minimal supervision
- Strong organization & time management skills
- Knowledge of typical Quality Management System elements in a regulated industry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
- Must have a strong ability to read, analyze, and interpret general company policies and departmental procedures.
- Must effectively communicate with all levels of management, production employees, and customers.

Education
- Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of experience. (Preferred)
- Associate degree with 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment or equivalent combination of knowledge and proven skills. (Preferred)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working with critical Quality Management Systems such as document control, change control, complaint handling, non-conformance processes, and HACCP.
Physical Demands and Abilities
- Required to tolerate working environment with inside controlled temperatures of -15 degrees Fahrenheit and outside ambient temperatures (including heat, cold, and precipitation)
- Regularly lift and move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds with or without assistance.
- Use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; crouch, bend, knee, and occasionally sit.
Work Environment

Pay: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour
