Description:
This position will work with out Continuous Improvement Manager to ensure our facility remains organized and efficient. This is an awesome opportunity to join our team and learn the equipment dealer industry from the ground up!
- Receive equipment, tag it and move it to proper location
- Move equipment from storage area to service bay and return to storage area once service is complete
- Assist with simple, urgent service needs such as washing equipment, installing non-hydraulic attachments, installing batteries, etc.
- Assist with maintaining continuous improvement efforts including organizational and efficiency projects
- Perform safety/organization walks; assist with inventory control of equipment
- Provide back-up assistance with delivery of parts, attachments and small equipment
- Must be comfortable moving small to large pieces of equipment (forklifts, scissor lifts, skid steers, track loaders, dozers, etc.)
- Excellent organizational skills
- Must be able to work independently and follow prescribed priority of tasks
- Mechanical aptitude
- Small toolbox with simple tools
- Must have clean driving record
- Must be comfortable operating a truck with attached trailer
- Strong commitment to safety
