Job Title: ICL Operations Team Lead
What you will bring:
The ICL Operations Team Lead is responsible for providing leadership, guidance, training, and support to the ICL team while ensuring efficient and accurate execution of all ICL processes and related activities. This role serves as the subject matter expert for ICL operations, acting as a liaison between the bank, clients, and vendors. The position involves supervising team members, managing daily cash letter activities, reconciling accounts, and coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure compliance, accuracy, and operational excellence. Additionally, the Team Lead contributes to process improvement initiatives and represents the organization in industry associations like ECCHO.
Essential Duties:

Team Leadership:
- Supervise, train, and mentor the ICL team to foster professional growth and achieve operational excellence.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching to support individual and team development.
- ICL Operations Management:
- Oversee daily ICL processes, including customer setups, posting, balancing, research, and adjustments.
- Maintain and update procedure documentation, test system enhancements, and implement process improvements.
- Cash Letter and Settlement Management:
- Monitor and manage cash letter routing, ensuring accuracy, cost-efficiency, and timely settlements.
- Process settlement and adjustment entries for clients, vendors, and internal accounts.
- Client and Vendor Liaison:
- Serve as the primary contact for ICL-related inquiries from clients, vendors, and exchange partners.
- Resolve technical issues, ensure smooth operations, and maintain strong partnerships.
- Compliance and Reporting:
- Prepare reports, maintain record retention, and support audit requirements.
- Ensure compliance with bank policies and regulatory standards, including BSA, AML, OFAC, and cybersecurity protocols.
- Industry Engagement:
- Actively represent the organization in industry associations such as ECCHO, advocating best practices and operational enhancements.
Basic Qualifications/Skills:
- Education/Training: Associate degree in business or equivalent experience; specialized banking training preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in bank operations or a related field, with a focus on ICL processes. Experience in team leadership or supervisory roles is strongly preferred.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and willingness to learn new banking systems.

Physical Demands / Working Environment:
- It is a requirement is to be physically present at the Glastonbury, CT office (3 days in office, 2 days from home).
