Electrical Engineer
Atlantic Design Group, Inc. currently has a job opening for an electrical engineer. The ideal candidate is an electrical engineer with an electrical or architectural engineering degree, with an EIT and 3 years in the consulting engineering field, with excellent technical and verbal and written communication skills, and a strong work ethic and organizational skills. Revit and AutoCAD experience required.
The engineer will work in a multi-discipline architectural / engineering group to develop a wide variety of design and design-build projects. Electrical engineers at ADG design power, lighting, fire alarm, communications, and a variety of special systems. Specific system designs include the following :
- High-reliability power systems including generators and UPS
- ASHRAE 90.1 compliant lighting and lighting controls
- Fire alarm and mass notification systems
- Power studies including coordination study, arc flash, and short circuit calculations, utilizing either ETAP or SKM
Duties include all aspects of design development including site surveys, design drawings, and specification writing, a variety construction phase services including traditional construction administration, and support in proposal development. There are opportunities for career growth in this position.
ADG provides full-service AE design for highly complex projects located across the US and overseas. Building types include various healthcare facilities including hospitals, out-patient clinics, and lab research facilities as well as a variety of office spaces for government and commercial clients. LEED and energy-efficient design is incorporated into almost all projects.
ADG’s government clients include various DoD organizations and the USACE.
Due to ongoing contracts, US citizenship is required. Security Clearance a plus.
