Job Overview: 

We are seeking an experienced Azure Solutions Engineer with expertise in the Azure Government Cloud. The ideal candidate is a fast learner, adept at quickly building functional, secure, and automated solutions, and thrives in a consulting environment. You will play a critical role in delivering comprehensive solutions that align with our client’s strategic objectives, ensuring their systems are resilient, sustainable, and optimized for performance while driving down IT costs. 

Key Responsibilities:

• • Design and implement scalable, secure, and automated Azure solutions customized to client needs, with an emphasis on Azure Government Cloud.
  • Collaborate with client IT teams to scope, deploy, manage, train, and document project-driven deployments.
  • Ensure solutions are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with budget expectations.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and project plans.
  • Provide expert advice on Azure deployment best practices, focusing on security, compliance, sustainability, and cost-efficiency.
  • Implement automation to streamline processes, reduce manual efforts, and adapt swiftly to changing functional and regulatory requirements.
  • Continuously enhance project management processes, documentation practices, and communication methods.
  • Foster long-term client relationships by supporting and evolving their cloud ecosystems.
  • Obtain and maintain relevant industry certifications to align with role requirements and responsibilities.

 Qualifications: 

• • Three years of experience as an Azure Solutions Engineer with a strong emphasis on Azure Government Cloud.
  • Proven consulting expertise, with a demonstrated ability to collaborate with clients to identify and resolve complex challenges.
  • Exceptional project management abilities, capable of managing multiple projects concurrently and delivering results on time.
  • Advanced documentation and communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • In-depth knowledge of cloud security, compliance frameworks, and best practices for Azure architecture.
  • Experience developing automated solutions that promote sustainability and reduce IT costs.
  • Strong independent and team-working capabilities, with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
  • Fast and accurate keyboard proficiency, with expertise in swiftly building and deploying solutions.
  • Eligibility to obtain a security clearance; candidates with dual citizenship may need to renounce foreign citizenship to meet clearance requirements.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, adept at collaborating across all levels of government and contractor organizations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline, with at least two years of progressive, relevant professional experience.
  • AZ -500 Microsoft Certified Azure Security Engineer Associate
  • Project certification or equivalent PM experience

Engagement: Work schedules are client-driven, requiring availability for 8 hours per day, 5 days a week, or 10 hours per day, 4 days a week, based on business needs.

Other Essential Functions:

Candidates must exhibit professionalism that drives productivity and promotes teamwork. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks are essential. Effective communication, both written and verbal, and the ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization are required. Dress code is generally business casual but may be adjusted based on client standards.
