Atlantic Emergency Solutions is seeking a full-time Operations Manager in our Charlottesville Service Center.
The Operations Manager is responsible for operating and managing daily business activities, either in associate with, or in absence of the Service Center Manager. Additionally, the Operations Manager will be responsible for:
- Maintaining a successful customer focused relationship with employees and customers.
- Daily internal service-related interactions through the assignment of work to team members.
- Work directly with customers to coordinate and communicate accurately details on services needed.
- Assist or train team members on performing proper and accurate vehicle diagnosis, services, and repairs in a timely manner.
- Assist with estimates and quotes to customers for repairs.
- Participate in quality assurance process prior to vehicle being released to the customer.
- Review team members CCC to ensure that accurate and detailed information is noted within each ticket.
- Work directly with Service Center Manager on productivity goals and review for areas in need of improvement.
Make continuous recommendations on process enhancements.
- Maintain successful relationships amongst team members, customers, equipment & vehicle manufacturers, and all
external vendors. Enforce all processes set forth by manufactures and vendors.
- Direct contact with original equipment manufacturer to initiate and complete technical tickets for warranty repairs or
diagnostic assistance
- Enforce all company policies and procedures as defined in the Atlantic Emergency Solutions company handbook and
operations manuals.
- Oversee shop owned tool inventory, maintenance, and utilization.
- Complete all necessary paperwork, as required.
- Ensure shop is a clean and safe working environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Individuals must be highly motivated, possess excellent organizational and time management skills, demonstrate exceptional oral and written communication skills, and demonstrate the ability to motivate others to perform at their peak to create a positive and productive work environment.
Successful candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent and five (5) years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience and Supervisory/lead experience is a plus. Pre-employment drug screening and satisfactory driving record required. Candidate will also need to routinely be lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling of objects and materials of light to medium weight (10-40 pounds) frequently and occasionally lift items up to 100lbs with or without assistance. Tasks may involve extended periods of time at keyboard or workstation.
