We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Ophthalmic Technician. Responsibilities :
- Extend a warm and courteous welcome to patients, ensuring they feel valued and cared for from the moment they enter the clinic
- Promptly attend to their needs with a helpful demeanor, setting a positive tone for their visit.
- Manage the flow of patients in waiting areas and exam rooms, proactively identifying and addressing any delays to minimize wait times
- Accompany patients to exam rooms with care and consideration
- Provide assistance to physicians during patient exams
- Perform advanced diagnostic testing, including Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT), Visual Field testing, Fundus Photography, and Corneal Topography, with precision and accuracy
- Maintain electronic medical records (EMR) documentation of patient appointments
- Other duties as assigned
