Job Overview
As part of our exciting new venture, we are seeking a skilled, passionate, and customer-focused Aesthetician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in a range of aesthetic treatments and share our commitment to delivering exceptional care and service. You will work closely with clients to assess their skincare needs, recommend appropriate treatments, and provide a personalized experience that exceeds expectations.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of facial treatments, including but not limited to facials, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, dermaplaning, and hydrafacials.
- Offer professional advice on skincare products and routines tailored to each client’s needs.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment by maintaining sanitation standards and cleanliness of treatment rooms and equipment.
- Keep accurate client records, noting treatment history, product usage, and future recommendations.
- Have a working knowledge of all medical services in addition to aesthetic services and company programs and be able to guide clients to appropriate services to help best achieve their goals.
- Perform prep work and properly clean and restock the rooms as required.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance at all times.
- Participate in training and continuing education to enhance skillset and knowledge.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Previous experience in a medi-spa or medical office setting preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of classic and new skin care techniques.
- Strong understanding of different skin types and conditions.
- Excellent customer service, communication skills, and computer skills
- Solutions-oriented and innovative.
- Passion for skincare, beauty, and providing a high level of client care.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
- Valid New Jersey State Aesthetician license.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in an aesthetic, dermatology or plastic surgery practice.
- Part-time with the possibility of becoming full-time.
