Atlantic Federal Credit Union is looking for a dynamic and collaborative Commercial Portfolio Manager to join our Commercial Lending Team! If you have a knack for financial analysis, love working with people, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this might be the perfect role for you.
About the Role:
As a Commercial Portfolio Manager, you'll be the backbone of our Commercial Lending Team, ensuring our Commercial and Member Business loan portfolio is managed and serviced to perfection. You'll collaborate with team members across all areas, providing essential support and expertise. Your responsibilities will include portfolio management, financial reporting, covenant tracking, and much more. You'll also step in to assist other Relationship Managers and Administrators/Processors during vacations or absences, making you an invaluable team player.
What You'll Do:
- Portfolio Management & Commercial Support (65%):
- Provide backup support for existing members.
- Exercise independent judgment on sales, underwriting, and member support.
- Conduct credit/financial analysis for new loan requests and annual reviews.
- Coordinate department audits, loan reviews, renewals, and more.
- Assist with advanced transactions and ensure compliance with agency requirements.
- Annual Financial Reviews (15%):
- Perform detailed financial reviews of commercial loan clients.
- Process new loan requests and prepare comprehensive credit presentations.
- Member Service (15%):
- Collaborate with Commercial Loan Officers and other departments.
- Respond to member inquiries and provide quality service throughout the loan process.
- Participate in community organizations/projects to enhance visibility and business opportunities.
- Other Duties (5%):
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Requirements
What We're Looking For:
- Experience: 1-3 years of related experience.
- Education:
- Two-year college degree, specialized certification/licensing, or specialized training courses.
- Skills:
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate, influence, and train others.
- Familiarity with Abrigo/Sageworks loan origination system (preferred).
- Commercial underwriting experience with the ability to evaluate various credit facilities.
- Willingness to travel to branches when needed
