Responsibilities
- Efficiently managing Payments Processing tasks with precision and effective prioritization. Key responsibilities include processing payments according to schedule and policies, ensuring compliance, and handling functions like debit card ordering, fraud monitoring, dispute processing, wire transfers, and EFT originations. You'll also manage card and electronic services, process member requests, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and support the Payments & Fraud Manager with various program administrations. Additionally, you'll review procedures and suggest improvements for greater efficiency and service.
- This role demands strong communication skills to deliver prompt and efficient service to both internal and external members. Responsibilities include resolving issues through mail, email, text, chat, phone, and video, addressing product and service inquiries, and escalating complex needs with recommendations. Maintain ample knowledge to handle most Payments-related requests courteously and accurately.
- Review all file maintenance associated with Payments services performed by all Atlantic FCU internal staff to ensure accuracy of systems, changes and adherence to internal policies, guidelines and standards. Ensure documentation is complete and accurate. Analyze errors and formulate resolutions. Cross-train and learn other duties/functions within the department to support the team as needed
Requirements
- 1-3 years of similar or related experience.
- Previous experience within financial institutions/credit unions a plus.
- Superior written and verbal communication.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Office.
