We are actively searching for a Clinical Coordinator for Med Surg . This position coordinates patient care policies, guidelines and procedures for medical surgical patients through the nursing process. Effectively interacts with the patient, significant others, and other health team members while maintaining standards of professional nursing. Assumes responsibility for the coordination of clinical and support activities of Med Surg in collaboration with the Medical Director and the Hospitalist team. Coaches, educates and supports the team in accomplishing Med Surg Goals, desired outcomes and hospital mission. Ensures in collaboration with the Department Director that care is delivered by those who are competent/trained to do so according to the patient population, level of technology required, complexity of care needs and the age of the patient.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate must have a current RN license and a Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN). Must have American Heart Association Healthcare Provider CPR certification. At least 3 years professional nursing experience, including demonstrated management and leadership skills is required.
